One of the standout items on the menu is the Phish and chips, which has left customers like Dan Massie raving about its fantastic flavor. The Buffalo Crunchwich has also earned its place in the hearts of many, praised for its satisfying crunch and bold tastes. For those seeking a sweet treat, their selection of donuts is not to be missed—especially the famed apple fritter, described by Jennifer Swan as "LIFE-CHANGING." Trust me when I say these donuts rival any non-vegan counterpart, making them a must-try for anyone with a sweet tooth.
Customers frequently highlight the super friendly staff, whose dedication to service shines through. Oscar Trachmann, a loyal customer, appreciates the welcoming environment and the thoughtful modifications they offer to ensure every dish meets diner preferences. Though V Food Spot operates on a takeout or delivery basis only, the absence of in-house seating doesn't detract from the joy of their flavorful offerings. Several patrons have made a point to find nearby parks to savor their meals, showcasing how worth it the food is.
As for specials, Davin Singh recommends keeping an eye out, as each dish seems to be thoughtfully crafted and expertly executed. From the delicious Deluxe Crunchwich to the indulgent Steak poutine, the variety ensures that every visit brings something new to savor. The glowing endorsements from both vegans and non-vegans alike suggest that V Food Spot is redefining what plant-based dining can be.

“ Vegan comfort food that checks off all the craving boxes! I tried the Phish and chips and the Buffalo crunchwich and both were fantastic! Really good selection of donuts as well and the staff were super friendly. No tables to eat at so you'll need to find a park nearby to enjoy your meal but it's definitely worth it! I'll be coming back with my family for sure. ”
“ Highly recommend: Deluxe Crunchwich and Steak poutine I have tried about half of their menu, and i have been surprised by how every single dish has been so good. And their weekly specials are definitely worth looking out for. ”
“ I've been going to V Food Spot since the beginning, and have followed them to their 3rd location as they have grown. I have had every item on the menu and there isn't a thing I wouldn't have again the staff and the owner are great. Friendly, helpful, informative. My non vegan friends enjoy the food here as well. And as for the donuts they are better than any non vegan donut I've had. I get requests from friends to pick up donuts for them almost every time I go. Do yourself a favour and eat here . Keep in mind it's take out or delivery only. ”
“ The donuts are AMAZING! We’ve tried V food spot twice now and it did not disappoint! My son has an egg allergy, and we are vegan/ vegetarian. He’s never had a real donut so this was a special treat. All of the donuts we tried were delicious, but the apple fritter is LIFE-CHANGING! It’s a far drive for us, but totally worth it! ”
“ The service and food was amazing! It didn't take long to get our food. I don't like onions so I asked for some modifications and they were happy to oblige. The donuts were insanely delicious. Can't wait to come back again. We only wished that they had dine-in available because we were traveling from out of town, but it was fine eating in our vehicle in the parking lot. ”
“ It was our first time trying this place and we were impressed. The donuts were beautifully created. They looked like they were crafted for a dessert contest. The taste hit the right level of sweetness and it wasn't over the top which we prefer. We bought a 1/2 dozen and it was priced appropriately. We would definitely come again and recommend especially if you are vegan. ”
“ My sis and I came here yesterday for lunch while attending TennoCon2024. So beautifully decorated inside, and the smell of fresh donuts is the first thing I took in. We both got the special quesadilla order, and I got a tiramisu donut as well. Everything was absolutely delicious. The cashew cream in the quesadilla wasn't too rich and the donut was light and fluffy and not too sugary like a lot of vegan donuts I try. I know exactly where I'm eating next time I'm in London! ”
“ This place came recommended by a friend because of their donuts "were the best". This place is easy to miss and very small but their donuts do not disappoint. The donuts are light and fluffy. I chose the Simpsons donut and a six pack of donuts. The ones I ate were not overwhelming sweet but were delicious. Dining in was not an option. The menu options were impressive. Highly recommend. ”
